ICCABS-25 International conference on Computational Aspects in Biosciences is an interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data. Computational Biology involves the development and application of data-analytical and theoretical methods, mathematical modeling and computational simulation techniques to the study of biological, behavioural, and social systems. Biosciences have been translated into various inter and trans-disciplinary fields, leading to practical solutions to sustainable development goals (SDGs). Computational biology is an interdisciplinary field that uses data analysis, mathematical modeling, and computational simulations to understand complex biological systems. In genomics, computational tools are crucial for sequencing and analyzing genomes, which has been instrumental in projects like the Human Genome Project. Proteomics benefits from computational methods to predict protein structures and understand protein-protein interactions. Systems biology integrates data from various ‘omics’ fields to build comprehensive models of cellular processes, while drug discovery uses computational techniques to simulate drug-target interactions, streamlining the identification of potential new drugs.

About GRCP
